What you will do

As an Internal Sales Representative at P&M Furniture, you are the right hand of our account managers. You act as the link between customer, supplier, and colleagues. No two days are the same! You work on multiple projects simultaneously, keep an overview, and ensure everything runs smoothly.

• Preparing standout quotations
• Processing orders and transferring them to your colleague in the implementation department
• Scheduling appointments for your field sales colleagues
• Maintaining contact with customers (also internationally)
• Ensuring expectations are clear and met
• Supporting the execution of interior projects
• Realizing great projects together with colleagues

What we ask from you

• MBO+ or HBO level of thinking and working
• Preferably experience in a commercial environment, but motivation and eagerness to learn are just as important
• Proactive, accurate, and customer-oriented
• Good command of Dutch, English, and German (French is a plus)
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and preferably ERP systems
• Able to stay calm under pressure with attention to detail

Job Description:

P&M Furniture BV is seeking an ambitious and experienced Sales Leader to take charge of sales activities and play a key role in leading and guiding the international sales team. The team currently consists of 7 people, and we aim to further expand it by recruiting Business Development Managers to ensure strong geographical coverage across markets.

As Sales Leader, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the sales strategy, motivating and coaching the teams, and achieving growth objectives.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Strategic Responsibility

• Develop and implement an international sales strategy aligned with the objectives of P&M Furniture.
• Identify new market and growth opportunities in the Netherlands and other European markets.
• Ensure optimal collaboration between field sales and internal sales teams.

Leadership and Team Management

• Lead and coach the sales team.
• Periodically evaluate and develop team members to optimize their performance and skills.
• Foster team building and create a culture of collaboration, customer focus, and results orientation.

Sales and Relationship Management

• Maintain and develop strong relationships with key accounts and chain customers.
• Support Business Development Managers in closing strategic deals.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and respond to changing customer needs.

Operational and Financial Responsibilities

• Responsible for achieving international revenue and profit targets.
• Analyze sales data and KPIs to monitor performance and adjust where necessary.
• Report to management on progress, opportunities, and risks.

Desired Profile:

Experience and Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role within international B2B sales, preferably in the furniture or interior sector.
• Experience managing international teams and complex sales processes.
• Strong commercial and strategic skills, combined with a hands-on mentality.

Personal Attributes

Language Skills

Location:

The position is based at our headquarters in the Netherlands, with the possibility of regular travel to our offices and customers in Germany, Belgium, Romania, and other countries.
